The process of becoming a person has a fundamental role in a human being's life. Thanks to it an individual can experience his/her distinctiveness, identity, independence and become an autonomous agent. During the whole life, having a contact with the world the individual builds his/her autonomy trying to direct his/her live according to own values, aims and norms. Each individual tries to gain freedom and independence from external impacts and becoming stronger and older he/she tries to shape the environment in relation to his/her needs and expectations. Searching for the identity one needs to find his/her way to build his/her own way of life, being pressed to adopt an existing order and expressing the independence through protest, an effort to control others and an expansion of him/herself. Experiencing freedom of self-formation the individual has a possibility to define her/his borders, rights, life aims, values and create his/her existence independently of an external control. This also means many occasions for solving problems and making decisions self-dependently. Without such possibility a person suffers from a lack of feeling of happiness, quality of life, openness and freedom of the personal development (Sack, Kurzyd*owska, 2000)
