This study is part of the education of teachers' line, which wants to make a contribution in the education for citizenship from the environmental education approach. Actually both types of education claim each other in order to make possible the sustainable development. In other words, we recognize that the citizenship is immersed in a social process which depends on the value guidelines and on behavioural appearances, in which the environmental education may have a strategic function. Or we can also add that democracy and the values found in plural societies from the education for citizenship's point of view, find in the environmental education a specific field for values education. Trying to deal with possible connections that let natural science teachers design the future curricular projects in this line, the following results are offered.
