Comments: This paper focuses on children's experiences of economics. Economic concepts of ownership, income and saving are investigated through children's descriptions of the things they own, their sources of income, and their savings. Ten children were interviewed, six boys and four girls aged between eight and ten: all were from the same class at school. The children came from a socially and ethnically heterogeneous area; their social backgrounds were accordingly varied, though all of them were born in Sweden.
